TODAYS ITEM FOR AUCTION IS
: a vintage item that sat on the set of the MICKEY MOUSE CLUB.
Imagine being behind the scenes of the Mickey Mouse Club in the mid 50's, some of the great child actors in front of you, cameras to your left and right, directors of the show and other personal sitting around in their wooden directors chairs. You look at the titles on the back and one reads MAKE-UP in cartoon writing and an image of Mickey Mouse hitting Minnie Mouse with a powder puff ball. Not nice Mickey!
Back to reality; this is a green canvas chair back from the set of the MICKEY MOUSE CLUB. It has been in a collection for some time now. He did manage to get a color copy photo of it being held by a 50's Mickey Mouse club star who was also in other "spin-off" shows for young adults. The photo copy will only go to the winning bidder and will not be seen on the auction listing.
The entire chair piece is 23 inches across, and 7 inches tall. 17 inches is what would show on the back of the chair, the the other 17" on the front blank. and the sides each have slots to slide onto the wooden chair. There are signs of wear and general use from years on the set. Would look great if reattached to a directors style chair from the 50's if you can find one. A great addition to any DISNEY collection. The actors copy photo will be sent with the package and free shipping.
